1.4.2. Requirements

1.4.2.1. What can (not) be funded?

Funding may be provided, for example, for advertising material and advertising, room rentals, remuneration, materials for events, or travel and accommodation costs in the lowest category. Catering can only be funded if it is religiously or culturally related to the event or if it is only minor.

Profit-oriented events, alcoholic beverages, first-class travel, flights, or car journeys (exceptions apply for persons with reduced mobility) are not eligible for funding, nor are services that the university provides free of charge anyway.

1.4.2.2. What do we need to bear in mind?

Generally, events must be accessible to all students at the University of Bonn and must at least be advertised publicly within the university (e.g., via flyers in the cafeterias). Advertising materials must display the logos of the AStA and the student parliament with the addition “funded by.”

Disbursement of funds before the event ended is not possible. Collaborations must be clearly stated in the request. For expenses exceeding 1,000 EUR, a price comparison must be carried out and documented in the request with three quotes.
