1.4.1. What is a funding request and how does it work?

A funding request is the formal request with which a cultural group applies for funding for events or its activities.

The funding request is submitted online via this portal and is a mandatory requirement for reimbursement of costs. The Culture Department checks it for completeness and consistency and forwards it to the Culture Committee, which then discusses the request. After discussion, modification if necessary, and approval, the event can take place with funding from the AStA and the costs can be reimbursed to the group.
