1.4.6. Possible decisions regarding your funding request#
The student parliament’s culture committee can accept your request, accept it with modifications, reject it, or postpone it. However, the majority of applications are accepted, potentially with amendments. The decision is binding as soon as it has been communicated to you.
In special cases (e.g. for large funding totals), the student parliament itself, rather than the committee, may decide on your application.
1.4.6.1. Request accepted#
The requested funds are approved. After the event, you can submit the incurred costs with receipts and receive reimbursement via bank transfer. Depending on the workload, this may take a few days or a few weeks.
1.4.6.2. Request accepted with modifications#
The request is amended before acceptance, e.g. by reducing funding amounts, deleting individual items, or imposing stipulations.
1.4.6.3. Request rejected#
No funding is granted. There are many reasons for this, including a lack of added value for the student body, formal errors, or a lack of funds.
1.4.6.4. Request transfered to the SP#
In the case of extensive or controversial requests, the student parliament decides instead of the culture committee. In this case, your request will be forwarded to the entire student parliament, which will then decide on your request at the next parliamentary meeting. The possible decisions are the same for the parliament as for the committee.
1.4.6.5. Request postponed#
The motion is postponed to a later committee meeting, e.g., in the absence of the group.
